So I have this OC -- [pet not found] -- that I am working on. In short, she's a nature god that protects and oversees birds specifically. Originally, I had picked the name "ossifrage" because it's one of the names for the bearded vulture, which one of my absolute favorite birds and was going to be the chosen form of this character.
The more I've worked on her though, the more I dislike the sound/flow of "ossifrage" and I already have another bearded vulture character, so I might steer her in a slightly different direction. Unfortunately, I'm stumped in the name department, so I'm looking to you guys for names! It can be RW or not, I'm not real picky. If you're not sure if I'd be interested, please feel free to offer anyway!
Also, if anyone is interested in the name Ossifrage, you're welcome to it. I'm just gonna be nameswapping if I find a name I like. c:
, I have the name Marahute....the giant golden eagle from rescuers down under. I created her as a fan pet but then wanted to do something different and couldn't get past the character from rescuers down under so now she's just sitting on my account. I'd happily send her your way if you like the name ;)
Thank you for the offer! That's an awesome name, and I was reeeally tempted. But after mulling over it for a couple days, I think I'd have to same issues as you. I wouldn't be able to separate the character from the name.

From a quick look and going by the common user here, probably was named more from Japanese than West African, though I find the West African meaning quite interesting.
