Essential Information for Bite Links

Ideally, a page number will also be included. It's not essential for biters but it is also nice to know how long people have been waiting.

You can display this information in anyway you choose. I personally use LINK - NAME - STRAIN - PAGE NUMBER but as long as information is there, you can go for a format that's easiest for you.

How Often to Post

We only need one dinner menu per page. If you people post after your update, you can edit your post or save them for the next page. Once we've reached a new page, you can post again.

If it gets busy, it may be difficult to try to post on every page. If this is the case, make a note to say that updates will be slow. It's best to be late and accurate than to post on every page with mistakes.

The Reservation Menu

The reservation menu has its own topic found here: Reservations Menu - NOT FOR CHATTING, KRAE. The point of this is to hold the names and posts (for the bite links) of people we can't bite yet, either because they are wearing a skin, or because they have not signed up at the VIP. We keep this information to ourselves to avoid confusion from the general public.

General Tips

Take Your Time! We want to make sure we have the most accurate information possible so that everybody who comes by leaves with their desired strain. If you get overwhelmed, pass the menu to somebody who is experienced.

Edit using Notepad or Blank Document. This makes it easy to hold onto the template, and if the window minimized, you can get all the relevant information without scrolling or switching windows too often.

Glad we have this post! Might I suggest adding a note for those who might be interested or not aware that we can turn pings for the nvlbmenu group on and off as appropriate on the group page - kind of like a clock in/clock out system.

Suggestions for the Menu:

1. Remove redundant/excess text to make the menu more user friendly and concise.
2. Include link to main nvlb group for any new members who may want to join.
3. Consistent spacing between groups.
4. Clearly define the purpose of the reservation section.
5. Prevent as many unnecessary pings to wranglers during high traffic times as possible.

Adding those cool spoiler tags you used in the Reservations menu defines the normal menu nicely now it's shorter Also makes it easier to find as you scroll looking for it
