I just found out that you don't get loyalty points for CSC subscriptions.

I have a GA & CSC subscription, and I would have thought that I would also get loyalty points for the CSC I purchase.

Would it be possible to get loyalty points from subscriptions?

I always wondered about this. I was under the impression that setting up subscriptions is better for the site in that knowing money is coming in on a schedule makes budgets and planning easier. Yet its way more rewarding for people NOT to subscribe. Between bonus weekends and loyalty points and other CSC encouragement, you lose out if you subscribe. Doesn't seem fair.

Correct me if I'm remembering wrong, but I think the subscription system was set up way back when we were rewarded for spending CSC rather than buying it, like we are now? If that's the case, I can see how the subscriptions fell behind other rewards.

i know it's been forever since you posted, but i was wondering if there was anything that could be put in place in the interim for players with subscriptions? i know it might be kind of a pain, but i think it would be more incentive for users to have a subscription.

i've been considering cancelling my subscription until the new system is put into place, just because i can get more loyalty points by not actually having a subscription.

It's awesome to hear there's going to be a revamp, because I've considered subscribing but then just decided to wait until Bonus Weekends to buy some extra SP. Having more incentive to subscribe would be great.

Yeah, I always thought this was a little weird. I just buy CSC on bonus weekends, because you get bonus CSC, an item, and more loyalty points. It seemed strange to me that you don't get loyalty points or one of the items if you have a subscription. A revamp of that system would definitely be nice.

I feel like after all the recent discussion about player retention and making money for the site, the revamp of subscriptions (and gold accounts) should really take priority.

Leave bonus weekend as is to encourage people to buy additional CSC on top of their subscription if they like the items, but making subscriptions worth it/desirable would be a good thing!
