Soooo, how on earth are you supposed to get to level 10 in one game?

I've gotten to level 8 many times, but there is no chance I can get to 10. What's the trick here?

I play on both timed and endless. I always think I'm doing great on endless and then it screws me over with the 'you don't have any moves' left twist. Any tips at this point would be greatly appreciated.

sorry, I don't have any tips. I rarely make it past level 7 in timed and level 8 in endless.

For me, I got the achievement by playing a lot, and finally getting a lucky board. That's it.

Yeh i wondered how much of it was down to just plain old luck! Well I guess I'll keep plodding away at it!

I used to play it a lot and apparently I have reached level 10? (Don't remember that lol) I'd say try to get as many combos as you can in the beginning of the game when there are fewer colors on the board. Build up your score early on, basically.

I personally make more matches at the bottom of the board. That way, falling items can make match chains if RNG works out. I prioritize getting rid of the timed ingredients because an ignored one can ruin a good run. And finally, if I can't match a timed ingredient and it's almost expired, I do my best to purposely run out of moves so the board refreshes and I get a second chance.

Other than that, it's just playing a bunch and hoping for a good run.

I'll definitely have to try these tips! I want to get to level 10 eventually :)
