Everyone who reads the stories they produce knows that they're kind of crazy daring to risk being sacrificed by being frozen in iceblock to goddesses just to photograph and describe atmospheric effects not visible anywhere else, but it's a ripping good story and the readers themselves would never dare go to such exotic places. So they read it anyway.

Fashionble socialite and just married is Seaside City's private detective who uses her wealth and social status to get clients. Her usual divorce, skip-trace, computer fraud, and lost-dog cases always end up with a semi-comic semi-fatal supernatural element. In the three stories of the series so far, "her" ghost is often around but doesn't seem to be all that helpful, TBH. The turnip always drops the clue.
