Years ago the achievement system was slightly different......then it got updated. It seems though that a LOT of my achievements that I have previously earned are red. I believe that they still count in my overall achievement total, but why aren't the achievements that I have earned in the past green?

If you didn't import your achievements when the new system was introduced, that would explain why there are some not showing. If you file a ticket, I believe a UA can look into your logs and see what is missing.
