I play a lot of browser based games and I am trying to find one that isn't revolved around you buying a membership and is actually good. I play Moshi Monsters and Animal Jam but you can't really play without a membership and I also play Club Penguin Online and Rewritten which are completely free. Any recommendations would be great!

I don’t know how you feel about text-based games, but Fallen London is really lovely. It has a Victorian gothic/slightly steampunk style and is has a lot of complexity to it. The only really complaint I’ve ever heard about it is that it is wordy, but other than that it is really good, even without a membership. There’s also Flight Rising, which is similar to Subeta but... dragons.
