Hello! I've been on the site for around 4-5 days now as of posting, so might as well get comfortable while that week-long adrenaline is in.

Some generics, I suppose?

I'm a sucker for digital human avatars which is ironic considering how simple I like to dress in reality, and I'm a massive sucker for pet collecting(?), which is what drew me to the site. I consider myself an amateur CSS coder, and seeing all these pretty profiles had renewed that energy to create templates again (and on that note, ignore the mess that will be my profile dashboard for a while). Video games and generally anything fictional keep me sane - catch me crying talking about Persona, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Critical Role and a bunch of other things around. I'm an avid reader, though not as much as before as I've gotten pickier with my choices in published books.

Any tips and info a newbie should know? I'm aware of the quests and events, alongside the large amount of places I can interact with, but I'm still feeling relatively overwhelmed so a suggestion on where/what to focus on would be grand.

I know it's overwhelming at first, especially if you join during a site event like you did. There's a lot to do. I guess, do whatever you want. If you want focus, maybe focus on the first few things you find that you like.

My profile looks like someone's melted a Rainbow Dash toy in the microwave, and a few days ago I almost broke it. So the only coding advice I'm able to give you is to check out the forums. If you've got questions, people tend to answer them and be really nice about it.

Ah, yes, that is true. Might as well get settled in with things I like already. Also, that is the best description I have ever heard for such a profile. And I find that it looks quite nice thanks to the pastel colours!
