I, like many others who have posted in the survival forums, chose the 25k random new strain that is to infect you immediately. As far as I know, none of us are infected yet. It's been just under 2.5 hours for mine that the VIP page says I still have time to wait. The FAQ also confirms the payment and choosing a random one should be instant. Any clues for this?

Edit: Currently (around 7:30 sub time) cancelling the strain and re-signing up worked for and I. However, others have reported trying that and it's not letting them cancel to re-sign up.

Yupp I had that happen too. Signed up for the 25k instant option and waited over an hour for an infection before I gave up and am now trying to get bitten with a random strain.

Yep I'm in the same boat as well! I know staff is looking into kisses removing infections right now: infections being removed but I believe they are aware of this one as well. Hopefully it will be fixed soon! Definitely feel free to file a ticket for the UA's about the bug.

Now that kisses are fixed, any info on this? :) Should those of us who chose random instant re-try, or will that put us in the queue line again to wait more?

I just gave up, cancelled and tried again. Its only 25K so I didn't care, though I'm annoyed about missing 4 hours of infection.

I now seem to be infected though.

so it does work to cancel and restart? It didn't a few hours ago, someone else had posted. That's why I have been afraid to!

maybe...that was actually my reasoning for giving up and trying again, I thought once the other fix went through, maybe it fixed this too. Congrats on getting infected!

Thanks, Lypsyl! said that she tried to cancel her strain, to re-choose a random one and it's not letting her cancel it. So I guess it may not be a fix for everyone?

I tried to cancel, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. Nothing happens when I hit ok to cancel.

I'll have to keep waiting it out.

There have been recent issues with buttons to pick a new virus if you got yours removed accidentally & to cancel a progressing virus! I'm having this issue too.

Since staff is aware of the situation and are looking into it, I'm sure it will all be fixed soon. As the news post said it wouldn't be a Subeta holiday without lag and issues! :)

I have no instant infection showing and no option to cancel, but can apparently pay for a new one? o_O

Looks like your virus got removed accidentally then. Feel free to file a ticket to be reimbursed if that's the case & select the option you'd like again. :)
