I got super excited for the start of Survival and decided to go through my Friend Feed on my dashboard and kiss my friends that had updated their statuses.

Yeah, same here. Previous years you would always get an error if you clicked your own link, so it seems like a very large oversight on the new button's coding, and if you're able to kiss yourself it's probably still considering it two different people and giving you twice the reward. I'd be careful double and triple checking who you're smooching until this gets fixed.
