So I'm something of a coffee fanatic. As I was sitting here making some coffee this evening, I thought about making one of my pets more dedicated to the coffee craft. But then I looked up coffee items and there's a huge blind spot in the enthusiast coffee item pool!

Some of these suggestions might get esoteric, so I'm going to start with the big one: single-origin coffee grounds/beans. Right now, the only coffee grounds/beans we have are flavored or dark roast, but enthusiast coffee is usually single origin; the beans are carefully selected from a few growers and roasted pretty lightly, letting their own flavors come through. We have regional varieties of salt and butter for all the Subeta lands; why not regional coffee?

My other requests are coffee-making items. We have a lot of espresso machines, but basically nothing for actually making coffee. Items I'd really like to see:

• press pots/french presses
• chemex pots (these are the hourglass ones with paper filters)
• other kinds of pourover cups (these look like teacups with very wide rims and holes in the bottom; they sit on top of your pot or cup while you pour water over the beans)
• coffee grinders (either manual or automatic)
• paper coffee filters

I could get really into detail, but I'll leave it at this, haha. The coffee-making items get a little esoteric, but if nothing else, I'd really like more hobbyist beans!

This is a fun idea.

Now I'm imagining glacier-resistant cold-loving Tormirgard coffee trees and sand-loving drought resistant Sacred Grove coffee trees. Because magic. And then I'm thinking just what sludge what would pass for "coffee" in either Underground Shadowglen and Ziara Underground.

What a cool idea! Coffee may not exactly be my cuppa tea, but for those who're really fond of it, this idea could be great! :)

OMG YES! I love this! I was also disappointed about the lack of plain coffee beans and other coffee-making items~! Also regional coffee is such a cool idea.

Did I already say I love this idea? Because I really love this idea.
