Same for me. It's misery trying to finish my quests.

Noticed a small lag when the wardrobe was having issues (having loaded the items and then it just switched back to my old search) and now it took me a good 5 mins to load the site and another to load this thread.

I'm having waves of lag and 522 errors in between periods of the site working pretty fast.

Same as OP and everyone else. Sometimes a page loads no problem, but most of the time it's just.... Lag for a good minute or so. It's horrible. Even before when the lag was so bad, I usually managed to get around it, cause I was early or something? But now, I've not been able to do anything really for like 3 hours. Site's basically unplayable. I can't do anything, unless I'm willing to wait 2 minutes for a single page to load. Which, sorry, I'm not.

It's definitely pretty laggy for me. I have about 1-3 minutes of no lag and then it goes straight back to not loading any page until I get the non-lag spurt again. Many connection timed out pages as well. I did experience a few days ago slight lag and then one connection timed out page, but then after that, it went back to normal and nothing persisted. Then a few days later after the first encounter, same thing, lagged a little but got a subeta is down page for about 10 minutes, then went back to normal. Which brings us to today for me.

Forums are hanging. Same crap, different day. Still unknown cause.

Not practically unplayable - totally, completely unplayable.

Made a thread on this myself but this one's more popular so yeah, gonna come in and echo the sentiment. Site is unplayable due to the lag. Great that this seems to happen so often, and that there's still no reason given as to why it's a thing that crops up.

Edit; here's a question for the staff - are we going to get extra quests or some other way to make up for the ones missed today due to all this lag? Because personally it's absolute crap, especially as a GA holder where I'm basically missing out on a day of what I paid for.

Seems to be random lag for me though - it's not on every page load, and after waiting for 20 seconds if I refresh the lagging not-yet-loaded tab, it (sometimes) loads really quickly.

[edit] and back to the lag on forum posts showing up too - once I eventually got this thread to load again, my post didn't show until I'd refreshed the page twice

And then staff wonders why their user base:

a) is leaving all the time and/or goes on year-long hiatuses often b) is completely disengaged c) doesn't spend as much on csc as they used to d) are so bitter

Been years of this. The last big reason was "it's all cloudflare's fault!". I wonder what it'll be this time

Gave it 2 hours, still the same. I am going to be hanging in there for hours to get my questing done, I'm afraid. And probably the same tomorrow and even on Monday for most of my day. This is not funny!
