I'm a sort of pet site enthusiast and I decided to give Subeta a whirl.... Not really sure how things work here, so I'd appreciate some advice/info if anyone has any to give. Thanks!

I'll take one if you really don't want them, though I don't want to be greedy. I can see why the new change would be a bummer to players who have been here for a while. :(

Minions are basically a pet for your pet, they keep your pet's happiness up so you don't have to play with them as often if you don't want to :)

They can also just be a cute item which you can collect (You can see the option to add them to your 'Zoo', if you want to keep them in one place)

Forum giftboxes are given randomly, but usually during events like Luminaire or Masquerade. There is usually notice on the main page prior.

But I think you meant the gifts you had received, were given through the Gift center.

I didn't word that great. I meant if there was a giftbox item you could buy in shops that you put items inside of and send to other users. Do you need a giftbox to be able to send items to other players, or is it just a more convenient because you can send more than one item at a time?

Also, love that minion. I know what I'm giving to Jevilstail now.

The gift center is up in Arctic Frost. You choose a wrapping or randomly for a price. I know Gold account users can send ten items. And you also have the option of sending anonymously. Individual items can be sent through the inventory.

There seems to be little left oriented items here, or anywhere.
