I notice approximately 5 days ago that 2 of my shops UB one and vault of junk one have the same amount of Lifetime sP Made total of 2,147,483,647 . I mentioned it to KimC, and she checked her shop Two Roads Diverged had the same exact amount of lifetime sP made of 2,147,483,647. That amount has been the same since I noticed it, in both my shops.

my legacy shop Ephemeral Concepts was in the top ten of the biggest shops on site, back when shops weren't limited by size. I hit that number years ago. It is the maximum number allowed in the code. Users were talking to Keith about (what I consider other) collection Achievements and he was acknowledging on how important it was to track all of these. Collection of teh munniez is a collection! And having that max number in my shop feels like an Achievement to me.

He did acknowledge that the limit was still there even though the shops have been updated to the new system and it's still ocded in this way because software. While he did mention in passing that something like this might be worked on once the site gets transferred over ....well you and I we've been here a long time IKR? Anyhow, to me and from what he said then this is not a Bug. It might work as another attempt at Suggesting the limit be raised? It might not be possible still.

I had a huge hoard back then I went into a panic when the new limits came about. I used to get huge amounts recycled daily. Now it just not the same. But sure wasn’t happy suddenly someone bought out of my book gallery ( hoping for reading drive to come back.) waiting to hear

Oh yeah, thank you ! Now that I see that thread it reminds me that he said later that it might be able to track multiples of this number, so you could roll it over like the odometer on a car that you have had for a long long time. Then have another field that shows you how many times you have rolled-over.

That's a good way to see it! :) It's not a bug, it's just a normal system limit.

tbh I wouldn't be bothered at all if they decided to remove the exact numbers. How much I've made over the course of years isn't very important to me. What's important is how much I have in my shop till right now. 😜
