Hello. I am currently playing Slots because Major Drills requested I do so. Other than for this purpose I have no use for the game Slots, which I think is a shame.

I love a good game of chance. I have a lot of disposable sP, as many players do. I would be willing to gamble quite a bit for the chance to hit a good jackpot and win good items, including of course items that would be exclusive to Slots. Right now items such as the fake star rod, the slots book, and the spork are extremely cheap because they are a few of the only items available to win through Slots. If we included more highly collectible items like those needed for achievements (books, plushies, beanbags, etc) I think this game would be used a lot.

I think if this game got an overhaul and gave us options on how much to gamble per game, have multiple lines, new items and sP and maybe even CSC prizes, this could serve as a fun and effective sP sink. Let me know what ya'll think.

edit: Just for giggles, this was my haul while trying to earn about 2.5k for Drills: x1, x2, x6, x4, x3, and a few food items of common/mundane/really common rarity

At the temple, there is a poem called "Loss" carved into the stone.
It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out.

The problem with this, as always, is anything that pops out frequently enough to make a lot of people interested in actually playing, would devalue as quickly as the sporks, books, coins, etc.

When a machine does spit out some useful/pricey items rarely enough to be valuable, people don't seem to be aware of it. Like the from the graveyard vending machine. Slots itself does on occasion spit out some really valuable stuff - I've gotten the and the from there.

On the other hand, maybe adding a second type of jackpot (giftbox maybe) and putting some stuff from the Items to put back into circulation, might be enough of a draw.

As for making more clicks by adding "options" - a hard no for me. If I'm going play something as boring as slots I want it to run as fast and easy as possible.

I think most games in general need a good tweak .... maybe nothing too serous but some minor changes here and there could help bring more people around to playing. Plus new prizes added are nice too, maybe add some new spin icons that give you different prize rewards and the like.

That's true about the value of the items obtainable values decreasing. I guess that would be unavoidable for some things. What if there was a way to keep some of them pricey because of their level of use, such as mage amulets? They're given out frequently but the price still stays high I suppose because of their use? I think also increasing the different kinds of items available, in general, would make it more desirable to play. Even if just that were done, and keeping the rare good items still super rare, that might help a bit. For the multiple lines, I was remembering the options on the Neo slots games. I actually enjoyed being able to gamble more or less currency, personally. It could be that the bigger currency total you gamble at a time (like the multiple lines option being you gambling quite a large amount, like 100k, 250k, 500k or something) could make it more likely to get one of the super rare items. Just throwing stuff out there, obviously I haven't thought about it from all angles. I would just love to love Slots more.

I don't actually mind adding more features - as long as its done in a way that the default still works so you can still play slots with a single click.

Does the button to spin it move around for you? I use Chrome and the button kind of jumps a bit up or down after each page load, so I can’t just keep the cursor in the same place. It’s super annoying. :s

I have custom CSS to fix that. /* stops slots jumping around */ input[value="Spin again!"] {position:absolute; top:280px; margin:0 100px; z-index:999;}

[edit] You can change the numbers to reposition it to your satisfaction.

Personal->Customize Sidebar-> look for the Custom CSS tab at the top of the page.

Just copy the code as is and paste it in the box, then click Update CustomCSS.
