Hi! my battle pet recently reached T5 (yesterday to be honest) and I can't wait to invest on some new weapons. Unfortunately I should save up some more to afford a good set, but I wanted to know your advice on some weapons that could be a good investment even if they are not super cheap (and be effective for some more tiers). I checked some other discussions and I read that Replica Minotaur Knocker is a good one. Should I invest on it? Here are the stats of my pet and its weapons/scrolls:

Level: 218 Health: 418 / 418 Strength: 706 Defense: 262 Speed: 414 Intelligence: 847 AP: 52 Tier: 5

I currently have:

and also some scrolls: Sancturia Exodin
Winter Spirit
Perilous Whirlpool
Gust
Cold Blast
Thunderous Roar
Cobalt Eternal
Shadow Cloak

You will definitely want to update your freezer to one that has a 100% chance of freezing. I recommend . It can be purchased in the battle shop for 45 Hard tokens but it is also the cheapest one in usershops, if you don't have the tokens.

is one of the best weapons in the Tier 4 through Tier 6 range, though it gets surpassed by the Arrow Harpoon at Tier 7.

I would recommend getting the in the Millionaire Center. It is in the Winter section, which is the one that is active right now. (If you wait until a different season, the cost goes up an additional 25%.) When you get to Tier 6, you should combine it at the Genetech Lab with Reborn Wand of Doom to create the Reborn Icewand of Doom, which is an excellent Tier 6 weapon that you can continue using in Tier 7. The Freezewand has the exact same heal as the Malevolent Grimfruit but it has a chance to freeze. (The Reborn Icewand also has a chance to freeze.)

This summer you should purchase from the Millionaire Center. It is a 100% healer in all tiers. I would suggest replacing the Ruffie Healing Bones with the Phoenix Quill as soon as you are able to purchase it. Rainbow Quill is okay as a secondary OPB healer for a while yet. Reviver of the Lion is a great secondary OPB healer, so you should consider investing it if you want to continue having a secondary OPB healer in your set.

Soma Tabs are also a good investment. I still use them with my Tier 12 pet. They can be used with the Recycle Blaster to turn two of your opponents weapons into "useless junk" that only does one or two icons of damage.

Mystical Star Shuriken is a good bomb for Tier 5. Iron Fireside Lantern is a superior replacement but damage forward bombs are generally less important to invest in than good dual-duty attackers, from here on out.

If you are able to get a Shinwas Temple Shard or Rainbow Vortex, they will shield 100%. I only equip one and I use it with my freezer on the first round.

As far as your scrolls are concerned, you definitely need to invest in a multi-use (i.e. it will last you the entire battle unless the challenger has a curse that blocks scroll use completely) healing scroll. A good starter is the . One of the best is ... is somewhere in between. (Both the Divine Denizhen and the Terra Focujin can be created in the Secluded Shrine, using ingredients from Spells Galore. Aftershocks is an achievement prize for beating an Impossible opponent.)

I have other scrolls, but primarily I use my multi-use healer, my freezers, and Cobalt Eternals when freezing is disabled.

You don't have to wait until summer to buy the Phoenix Quill, you can get it now at a slight mark up (10m now vs 8m in summer). In summer or T6 (whichever comes first, you can also get a Reborn Wand of Doom, which you can combine with the Freezewand of Doom to make a Reborn Icewand of Doom. You probably have enough intellect to make your own Divine Denizhen scroll, so you might also want to look into the cost of the ingredients to see if crafting it yourself will be cheaper than buying from another player.

I'm not sure the Replica Minotaur Knocker is really worth the 43m. Jess has a by tier list of budget weapons ">here. Weapons are kind of disposable until tier 10ish, so I would instead focus on utility items you can always use if money is tight.

Full or near full heals, and having both is handy for progression. The reviver can be found in the Antique shop. Blasters. These replace one of your opponent's weapons with a piece of infinite use trash, sometimes causing them to do significantly less damage that turn. The Soma Tablets are worth the price, in addition to blasting they have a chance to give a curse and blessing, and small chance to freeze and steal. They're also found in the Antique Shop. += If you're going to spring for the freezewand, combining it with the reborn wand will give you a nice weapon with a 10% heal on it.
