Money isn't really too important to me. I can save up or sell things. I feel like with a better set I will be able to beat higher leveled challengers than I do now since I don't always change the set based on the challenger.

If money isn't important, first I'd get a proper freezer.
will more than do, and it's affordable. You can buy it with battle tokens if you want. is better if you want to splurge. is what you're going to aim for, but you won't be buying it. It's built from battle loot and items you buy from the battle shop with tokens.

Where I'd suggest you go on a shopping spree is A second blaster, nicer than the recycle blaster due to having a chance to give you a blessing, curse your opponent, along with a small freeze and steal chance. You can use this with the recycle blaster to knock out two of your opponent's weapons. Found in the Antique Shop.

A second healer. 90% heal, 1-5 block for each icon and one mod slot. Can be equipped with your quill, and I always find it handy to have a second (near) full heal for BQ progression. Also from the Antique Shop.

You can win this off Crithbolcan at T11 or T12, but if you want to buy it's a staple scroll. It offers 7% heal, some damage and some block. You've probably outgrown your Divine Denizhen scroll, and this can replace it.

A nice bomb that does 7 of each icon (63 icons total) and will leave a 100 turn curse on your opponent. Single use. It'll replace your Shuriken.

All of those are long useful in the long term, which I think makes the cost worthwhile. The tier isn't important on these largely because you're using them for their utility.

Optionalish, you may also want to look into a full block item
These are all pricey, and I think most people get along fine without one. The vortex is the easiest to obtain and has a low freeze chance, the shard is the lowest tier full block, and the amulet is the 'best' because you have a chance to use it more than once per battle.

I would focus on the soma tablets and a better scroll like aftershocks though.
