Aside from a glass of red wine and a bottle of chardonnay, we seem to be lacking wines that aren't mulled. One of my pets is a vinter and he really lacks stuff for his TC - not just different wines (red, white, rose, burgundy, all the different types), but grapes (that aren't... pirate themed?!) and wine-making equipment. Presses. Barrels. Vines.
Wine!
I support this suggestion.
Developing a pet's personality is an important part of a pet site and a treasure chest is a major aspect of this. It makes life very difficult when there are very few suitable items for a treasure chest.
I'm continually astonished that the site is as old as it is yet has so few wine-related items. I've requested more wine a couple of times, but nothing has come of it. Survival would be the perfect opportunity to bring out some wine stuff, if time remaining allows (Louis is even holding a glass of wine!).
Corked bottles, screw-top bottles, cooking wine, dessert wine, wine in boxes, one of those massive wine glasses that you can fit a whole bottles-worth in, dusty old bottles with fancy labels that may be frighteningly expensive, leftover corks, a bottle of wine that has been frozen so that it can be a tasty ice lolly...
This would be great not only for TCs but also for gourmand pets. Support!
I concur. While it's not the first thing I'd advocate for, it really would be great for those of us who like to force feed our pets. Wine would make their livers taste so much better in pate form.
What a coincidence, I suggested basic wine types not a week ago in the masq 2019 suggestions thread. Of course I support 😘. I think if the items would be single glasses of wine they would be perfect for the masq event. In bottled form and maybe with wine making equipment would be great for Neugarten.
"> Masquerade 2019 For those of you who would like to add to the request for more drinkies. I too share in the opinion that we could use more wine, not only as wearable hand-mods but to feed our pets with.
Gunter is in the SAI getting interrogated so I dunno if we're gonna get an Alegarten this summer, so Masquerade does seem the time for it.
Masquerade wouldn't be suitable for wine making equipment like barrels and presses, though.
Maybe Alegarten could be replaced with a summer Trade Fair. It could be a way of putting all kinds of items people have asked for on the site.
I am now imagining the devastation of a mad science all-in-one steampowered cogwork grapes harvester and masher, trundling randomly across the vine-covered slopes.
It's true that Alegarten could have those equipments, plus wines like Boujolais Nouveau, and lambents and other fruity beers. So maybe some of this could be moved to the summer. instead of to the AHS.
One of my pets is a certified mad scientist. He wants one. :D
I like the idea of a wine fair this summer. Here's a quote from Amber in a News Post comment. https://subeta.net/news/18451
The same could apply to vegan items - artists could run out of ideas for them.
Yes please! My gourmand is tired of beer and would love more wine :D

Yes!!! Also grapes too!! We lack in those as well! We have have no white grapes or blue grapes!
We have only or
You can make no wine with those!
We have Green, Purple, and Red Pirate Grapes. However most wines are named after grape varietals and the grapes themselves can be good table-grapes eating, although out of all of them Tokay and Ribiera are commonly held to be tasty. Here in the US of A we are used to only seedless Thompsons, but Concords are a very american grape with their own flavor and sweetness.
I also feel this is a perfect match for a Masq theme. If anything, this seems really up the Lounge's alley.
Definitely an opportunity for some very lovely, classy, beautiful items! I'd love to put some wine items in a few TCs.
YEEESS oh my gOD. The lack of wine and grapes is an absolute travesty and I have searched for wine multiple times in utter disbelief that there are no just plain bottles of wine.
Let me just make some "Whining for Wine" picket signs and then we'll all start the protest, yeah?
