So, recently one of my pets hit a book goal, but now I'm worried I'll absentmindedly read him a book and ruin the Aesthetic. I think, maybe, stuff like food eaten, books read and stats can be 'capped' if you have a character/oc that fits a number theme, or if you just like round numbers. Of course, this wouldnt affect battlers/battle pets, an opt in thing for sure, but I think it's be helpful for shaping pets to be more what we want. edit to say that i am aware of the stat leeches!

Thoughts?

I love this. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to stat numbers, but I love trying to level up all my pets to the same stats, and it annoys me to no end when one pet goes just one or two levels over the goal. It makes me feel like I'll never be satisfied with their progress.

Leeches don't really work on Eaten and Read lists though. It would be nice to have a brainwashing cap so that our pets can really follow through if they were read a book that they didn't like. However this would involve tracking the pet's INT and AP and how they got each so it doesn't seem very practical. It would be nice to have a syrup of ipecac item that makes your pet vomit up certain foods so they don't show on the list either.

The thing about both of these methods is that they're not very precise so using them might erase some other books and foods.
