i think this would be difficult to implement for a few reasons

• some cws have public copies of private items, so how do you distinguish those?
• staff, afaik, have always hated the idea of enforcing private cws, so it may be hard to get them on board with this anyway
• this obvi isn't a huge issue now that the pawn shop opens once every 34 years but imo if a private item is pawned, it loses its 'privateness' and the person who bought it can do whatever with it. buying an item you see with a special marking may either artificially inflate its price or obligate the person who bought it to try and figure out the 'right' thing to do with it.
• plus in general ive seen the statuses of items change all the time. some releasers just decide to sell some rando private for like 30k csc bc they're low and then the item is no longer the super exclusive private it used to be.

idk i totally get where you're coming from but i think the csc market is so fluid, and there are so many ways to find out if an item is private as is (cw identity thread, or ask the releaser the status) that i think this may not be the best thing to implement :c

I'm the king of turning private stuff public, this would be a mess to change and adequate and a hard work for staff, specially because we only have 2 people dealing with CWs Wouldn't work so well i'm afraid ):
