First question, what is the 1 or 5 or 10 usd ratio to sP? CSC?
Second question, would you be interested, does this pricing seem fair?
Below are some examples as i plan to open a 'PWYW Art Shoppe' due to me well needing USD to survive LMAO but I will also have one or two SP/CSC slots available(which may be KINDA high? due to well SP wont feed my animals or me) ANYWAY its a PWYW style that goes by tiers of TIME. Such as 10usd for every 30-45 minutes and so on. While i can spend 2 hours on your art its gonna be minimum 40usd, or sp equivalent, etc, kinda deal. Style may also be subject to change depending on piece to piece and time allotted!
moving this to the pricing assistance and suggestions forum
Sorry about that! I didn't see we had one of those forums! Thank you for moving it!
Firstly, lovely art. The style definitely is quite nice. I love how vibrant everything is. :)
Now onto your questions and pricing. As a good rule of thumb, look up which is 100csc. Whatever that number is corresponds with how much $1 is worth. I usually round up.
As for pricing based on time, it's going to depend on what the commissioner can get for say $10. A person is less likely to spend $40 on a headshot when they can get a fullbody for around the same price elsewhere. Of course its all subjective but I can see where that could be a problem. I don't know many artists who price based on time allotted but more so on the final product. A fully rendered image could be $30 while a sketch could be $10 and so on. Naturally you could also base your commissions on how long each sort of piece could take. Say a rendered image takes 10+ hours; make your csc correspond with that.
