sorry if this is something that's been answered before or is obvious, i wasn't around for the scootle release and forum search is apparently down!

i just bonded with a scootle and noticed that mine is genderless -- i was wondering if all scootles start out genderless? i've seen male and female scootles up for adoption, so i'm just curious if people zapped them, used gender berries, or something else! if this is just a chance that'd be super neat ^^

created scootles are created genderless. pets that have been zapped or an elixir used on them retain their previous gender. I hope that helps?

I haven't tried it but I think you can use a Gender Berry on a Scootle, but the gender will be random. Also, if you turn it into another pet with an elixir, it will change gender (Again, random), but I don't know if it's the same if it's zapped into another pet.

that makes sense! i'm not gonna probably change mine's gender but it's neat to see how this all functions ^^
