Hey, all-- I currently work in the US. I recently got a job offer to move overseas with my significant other. I'd really like to go and take my two turtles with me, but the moving costs are pretty expensive, especially because I need special permits to take my turtles with me. I've had them for around 20 years now and they're pretty much my family, what with me kind of lacking typical family stuff. My current job doesn't pay much, and it doesn't really leave me much room to get another job, so I'm trying to find other ways to raise money for my move. I used to make HA art back in the day on Gaia, and sell some of my work on Etsy, but stopped when they raised listing fees and started allowing people to post mass-produced items. Someone suggested I try selling my art again, and to be honest, I miss having an excuse to paint, so after some thought I figure what the heck. It can't hurt to see if people would even be interested.

So here's the deal: Everything I make is traditional art (unless you want a really terrible attempt at me drawing stick figures in MSPaint). I mostly do watercolor and acrylic on paper. I'm not really planning on doing any canvas work right now unless someone makes an offer I can't refuse. These take anywhere from a two to twelve or more hours of paint time (not including drying time), so they can be pretty time consuming depending on if there's a background and such, and anything that someone commissions right now is going to take a few days for me to paint. I prefer to just flat out mail my art to people so they have the original, but I can scan/ photograph it if digital is more your thing. I don't make prints. You buy a piece, it's yours. That's the only one there is. If you like a piece that's already gone, I can make a similar one, but it's never really going to be the same thing. I do not have dem mad skills.

Here's a link to my DA, unfortunately, the best pics I have of a lot of my stuff at the moment. I do not post to it much these days, so I just threw a few new things on there:

The top couple are the best examples of recent stuff I have and I can probably put up some better pictures if anyone's interested. Which is the other question--WOULD anyone be interested in buying art? If so, how much seems like a reasonable amount? (I can only accept PayPal, what with needing actual money for the move)
