Arthur rolls out of the bed a bit after midnight falls upon Subeta. He yawns groggily in front of the mirror, washes his furry little face and brushes his teeth. Feeling a bit more awake, he decides to reread the instructions.</p>

<p>Arthur lets the parchment unroll further to read the theme of first day.</p>
<p>“Happiness”</p>
<p>He rolls it back up and places it next to his bed. His Auntie sent him the gifts for the today so all he has to do is come up with a way to surprise humans. Scratching his head, he decides to wander off to the kitchen to ask Hamlet for help. He finds the small mouse watching something on his laptop. Hamlet quickly shuts it closed before Arthur can see what he was doing.</p>
<p>“Eh!? Why are you up so early?” Hamlet asks, trying to hide the laptop behind one of the couch pillows.</p>
<p>“Auntie helped me pick out the gifts for today but I don’t know how to surprise humans.”</p>
<p>“Oh! That’s easy!”</p>
<p>“Really?!”</p>
<p>“Yeah! You just BREAK INTO THEIR HOUSES”</p>
<p>“Umm… that doesn’t sound nice, Hamlet.”</p>
<p>“It is nice. Santa does it ALL THE TIME and the humans love it.”</p>
<p>“I guess…”</p>
<p>A few hours later… in the dead of night, you hear footsteps outside your bedroom door. Grabbing a nearby object to defend yourself, you swing the door open to find… a gift box.</p>

<p>Remembering the letter you received yesterday, you decide to go back to sleep and make sense of all this later.

The next gift box is delivered so quietly, you assume the footsteps you heard last time were those of the cheese thief.</p>
<p>You had made a BLT sandwich as a midnight snack and left it on the dining room table. When you returned with your refreshment, you found the gift tucked between the the lettuce and bacon.</p>
