It's Luminaire and I'm at my parents house working on something new, so I've got time to answer some questions. I haven't done this in awhile (and I used to do it on video 😭 ) but lets do it. Toss any questions at me, obviously ones that I can answer ;)

With virtual pets sites kind of declining, do we have to worry about Subeta closing in the future or are you planning on having the site open for as long as you can?
Definitely seconded on the tea shop. No updates no mention. It's been on all of our minds for a long time.

Do you think staff organized meetups will be happening again in the future? I never had the chance to go to one way back when, but now I live in a big city so I feel like the chances of being able to go to one would be higher! >:3c

Oooh, second one! I know the charms were A Time (tm), but would there be a possibility of RL Subeta merch returning in the future? I lost most of my charms when I moved. :(

Those chocolate chip cookies that have been made in a science lab, they're so soft that it's impossible they're made with real ingredients.
I see the tea shop got asked about a few times on this thread, and I totally understand the frustration. When we had the options, it was meant to be a small little idea and it turned into something much larger internally, and got blocked by a separate system that I was building at the time (which I still hope to have out next year!). and co have been working on the art and direction for it, it just got blocked up by some engineering work for awhile :( I'm really sorry, we want to see it realized too!

A bunch of things! I'm excited about a wardrove revamp right now that I'm working on for a few reasons:
- It moves the processing of items from the server side to the client side, which means that searching / filtering will be much faster, and cleaner. It removes a bunch of the logic from the server side, which makes it easier to push out new features.
- There is a new wardrobe feature coming with this :) Something we're excited about!
- This will be the base for a whole new Subeta, where we have the front end in react (the thing that makes it possible for the wardrobe to be so responsive), which means putting a header/footer in the wardrobe and starting to build features there!
Otherwise, we're working on an entirely new system for the site where users can join together to... do things. It's going to be fun!

I think we've managed to stay open for a lot longer than most other pet sites because we're more than that. We've got a community, which is really passionate and is what I think really keeps the site alive.
I plan to keep Subeta open as long as it's feasible. We're absolutely bringing in way less money today than we were four years ago, but it's still possible to keep it open :)

Any plans to be able to sort through items by color like we used to in the Wardrobe or is that forever gone?
(I'm not sure if only the art dept knows this, but it's worth a try)
Will we have new nostalgic and angelic pets this Lumi like we used to, or is it being moved to the middle of Winter?
What impact is the new artist expected to make on the site next year?
