So it started with the avatar you see me in right now.

At the time it was just supposed to look cool and edgy, but when pressed by a friend I started assembling an elaborate backstory for it about necromancy and revenge and self-destructive anger, and it only got cooler and edgier, until it turned into something that needed to be written down.

As it grew she almost immediately stopped working as the protagonist, or even a central character. What's left is less cool, and less edgy, and has become something closer to a love story.

I consider this complete, but feedback is still welcome if you feel like it! Notable content warnings include fantasy body horror, occasional graphic violence, and some frank discussion of sex and sexuality (not depicted onscreen). It's also extremely gay and begins with a comfortably polaymorous relationship, if that's points for or against to you.
