anyway, the chibis/minis will stay in the style shading wise/eye wise but actual detail will be according to however the character is! I'm pretty sure I wouldn't need to simplify for the most part? I guess it depends.

Makes sense! as far as my overlays go, I haven't done them in 3-ish years and I know when I did those they took FOREEEVER, I might be better at it now as far as efficiency goes. I also really want to teach myself to mimic subeta style 100% because I think those overlays are the neatest. definately something I need to practice. :la

ANYWAY, Yeah I can totally try to work off description. I'm actually super into character design. Usually in that case I've asked people to throw pallettes at me or mood boards for inspo and every amount of detail/desire they can think of. : D
