I guess this is a kind of 'species/color help!' thread but also just a discussion! Which pet do you think looks the most elegant? Maybe pompous? A little fashionable? :^ )

I currently have my pet

Damian as a common Neela. He's a pompous English painter who tries a little too hard to appear put together and refined at all times. There's also my pet

Helena who is currently an Experiment , which I do love, but she's a sky pirate with an eye for fashion design. I'm kind of on the fence whether or not I should leave them be or change them to something else - especially Damian. I already have a lot of Neelas haha.

I've always been in love with the Reborn Legeica since I see it as an elegantly pompous jerk, but maybe it comes across as TOO pompous for Damian? idk

@ finch I tend to relate neela, legeica, and yaherra to elegance. So I don't think you are far off with Damian if you decide to keep him as he is. And my suggestion for him would be:

For Helena, maybe the Nostalgic Torrent? I think it would be a cool nod to the Sky Pirate character, being a fish kite! It's also very stylish, right?

For Damian, I would second the BR Yaherra, or maybe the Lain. There's something writerly about the BR colour I think!

Albert Whisker is my arrogant pet and is a reborn tigrean. The pose and demeanor of the reborn tigrean looks very stand-offish to me.

For fashionable:

I think most of the Glacier pets that don't look like they're shivering or sleepy look arrogant, which is appropriate I guess since I'm pretty sure that's one of the mood options for that color when the artists are designing them.

Reborn also works for this and the sad expression of the common pose Yaherra puts me in mind of someone who is physically flashy but doesn't want your attention.
