I'm looking at starting an overlay shop, but I'm unsure as what my art would be valued at since I've been inactive for 7 years. Back when I was active, the zappers cost 5 wizard tokens and 5mil was seen as a lot of sp LOL.

Examples:

Thanks a bunch.

For overlays like this, you should be able to charge a minimum of $20, and raise your price for more complex designs. That would be 2,000 csc, and the sP equivalent would be around 232 mill.

If you preferred USD commissions, you could up your csc and sP rates to be higher to encourage USD payment (for example, $20 USD = 2,500 csc = 290mill sP). Subeta's rules do require you to have at least one csc or sP slot when doing digital art commissions. If you're able to earn more for this type of work offsite, definitely take that into consideration when deciding your prices here.

If you end up opening commissions, let me know. I would definitely be interested!

Thank you so much for getting back to me! That sounds perfect to me, I do have another question- along with commissions, is it within the rules to also offer premade ready to buy overlays of my own designs as well? Because I think that could be another option for people who might be interested in random themed pets.

I'll ping you when I make my shop :D

You're welcome, I'm glad to help. To my knowledge there's no rule against selling pre-made designs, but for that your best bet would be to file a ticket and ask a staff member on that to be sure.

I'll look forward to a ping when you get around to making a shop!
