How about more intelligence points for books read to pets that they liked? I would also like to suggest that some of the other "mind" games could generate intelligence points for the mystic spindles shop.

Whether a pet liked a book or not is just random 'color.' I don't think it should affect INT. After all, whether or not one likes a book has little bearing on what one learns from it!

As for games, well as someone who enjoys playing all those games, I'd love to get bonuses for them, but I don't think its a good idea. The battle people have their reasons for limiting INT and there are already a lot of ways to pick up random INT. Adding more would likely unbalance their system.

What are some of the other ways to pick up random INT? As a relatively new player I guess I must not have run into them yet.

You've already mentioned mystic spindles. The most regular way other than that is getting your pet a job and collecting their salary daily. You can get any stat, but INT seems to come up a lot. Then there are a variety of boosters.

Finally there's Oracle quests, scratchcards and random events which all give out stats gains, but I'm not 100% certain which of those, if any, include INT in the mix. I know in the past INT was only available from books and a very, very few boosters, but that's changed over the years and they seem to give it out more.

Okay, cool thanks. I guess most of that I did know, but it's always good to have confirmation.
