I have lot of ideas for more ornaments. (What can I say, I love ornaments!). Please feel free to add others as well or ping me with other suggestion boards and I'll link them in to avoid duplicates.
Natural or Found Items
So a little hard to describe, but I'm talking about all sorts of natural items people used to (and still do) decorate their tree with. I'm thinking along the lines of the popcorn garlands or things you might think of as Colonial Williamsburg and are still very popular in Germany.
- Cranberry garland (& cranberry-popcorn garlands)
- Dried fruits (especially oranges)
- Apples, lemons, pears...
- Pinecones
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Nuts
- Berries
- Snow! and snow-covered items
- Flowers

Handmade Ornaments
- Paper / Tissue Paper Snowflakes
- Origami (there's a lot of origami balls, but also things like folded swans & cranes which would fit in really well with the Shengui Guo tree)
- Salt dough ornaments in simple shapes and left white
- Gingerbread ornaments (same as above, but brown)
- Pipe cleaner snowflakes & stars

How about tribal masks as tree ornaments? These could go perfectly well with the Omen Islands tree! :D

Quilled paper ornaments can be really pretty! (I'd love to see some quilled-paper items on here, it's such a lovely art form)
