bout means "tip" in french (don't know if it's used that way as much in France, but here in Quebec it is very common!) not as in advice nor as in the cash you give your waiter but as in... the tip of the tree, tip of the roof, tip of the magic wand? the cat's tail is crooked at the tip? idk! hehe n_n
