I realize that gift-giving is a central part of the Lumi holiday and I hope everyone has a very happy holiday season and that they get what they desire. I simply would like the option to "opt out" of getting Lumi gifts. I have nothing against the holiday and enjoy many aspects of it. I am simply turned off by the Real World commercialization of the holiday and the pressures to give everyone something until I am bankrupt. I would like a respite.

I would love to decorate a tree -- especially with the new backdrops now available, but I don't dare put one up because people will (naturally) put gifts under it. Could I have some barbed wire or mousetraps to keep away these sweet, generous, kind souls? Maybe a small fence with a "Keep Out" or "No Littering" sign?

I realize I am in the minority and my views are not popular. I am not trying to kill the holiday spirit, I simply want the freedom to celebrate people -- not things. That said, I do hope everyone has a joyous holiday season filled with love, friendship, and good health.

The words Gift Settings is a link which will take you to your own gift setting page. There was a problem where the gift settings didn't save until a tree was chosen but I think it's been sorted now.
