I usually see tribute items released when an influential person has passed on. Stephen Hillenburg was lost to us recently and I don't know if an item is in the works for him but I wanted to suggest it because he was such a big influence on a lot of children thru SpongeBob.

I get it, and I was admittedly fully expecting one, but staff prefers not to have requests for tribute items since the artists just draw them if/when they see fit

Ooh, okay, that makes sense. I am happy to continue enjoying the currently existing items with spongey themes :>
