While battling, sometimes Icons appear over you that mean something. They are a blessing or curse or effect of some kind.

A few are obvious - the snowflake means Freeze... ok, one is obvious :)

It would be great for those of us learning battling, if the icons that appear had hover text explaining what they do.

I would definitely be in favor of this.

I think this suggestion is kind of wrapped up in the whole discussion of making the battle text more readable. A lot of the weapons aren't clear at all, let alone when a random icon pops up.

I really wish it was clearer when a blessing/curse activates for the opponent that prevents freezing/stealing/etc. I've wasted so many freezing scroll moves over the years because every opponent has a different anti-freeze icon.

Even as someone who's a bit more familiar with the battle system, I'd like to actually know what the blessing/curse icons do without having to play "Guess Who?" with them.

Battling's kind of a mess when you're first starting out. A hover, or something else to let you know about current battle effects would be nice!

I'm tier 4/only started battling and I'd appreciate this. Surprising to see even seasons battlers sometimes get stumped at icons, so I don't feel as stupid!

This would be super helpful. Heck, I'd even be fine with something denoting which icons are blessings and which are curses, since I frequently end up with multiple icons during battling.

I would love this! I've been battling forever and I still don't know what the icons mean.
