So I think the SQL errors are solved now? (though I'm not going to start any more quests just yet aaa).

Should we file tickets regarding any items we lost? (i.e. items vanishing when we moved something to wardrobe/bought something from user shops/etc.)

The questgiver takes the items but doesn't complete the quest. :s (this only happens if I have the items and click 'finish quest', otherwise it tells me I don't have the items)

Have also lost several and because Mori was taking them but not counting the quest as complete.

Interestingly, though, when I returned many hours later and just-for-lols clicked on "Complete Quest", then it give me the "Finished Nori's Quest! Many thanks for your aid, kind traveler! Please accept this token of my gratitude for your assistance." page. Guess I haven't lost that quarter-of-a-Quest-Point after all!

It has eaten 12 Lagan an Derelict from my shop, 3 Lagan and Derelict I bought from the Rathskeller Inn and 3 user shop Lagan and Derelict. It's not for want of trying, I can't complete my quest either!!

What's going on? Trying to do quests and buying items from shop search keeps giving error messages and when I try to post on my usual forum it keeps going to a different locked topic about profile help instead. ???

Can't complete Battle Quests, and can't make a topic abut it to report it. I made a ticket, but it doesn't show up in the list. Great.

I'm also getting a "Your most recent purchase failed. An unknown error occurred." error. ... Also items are being purchased, sP is being taken, but I'm not actually getting the items.

Same ): I got the same error when trying to get the new free gift. Didn't get it, but am told to stop being "greedy" when I refresh the page

Also I can't post on forum threads now and forum threads won't load D:. Tried to post this post a few minutes ago but it redirected me to "forums.php/read///1/". (Maybe it did post?) (Who knows) (Gonna try this again though and I'll edit this out to a blank post if it happens I did end up posting this before)

As an update, when purchasing from user shops:

"Your most recent purchase failed. An unknown error occurred."

However, it takes my sP and the item vanishes from the user shop but doesn't appear in my inventory. I guess it just blinkered out of existence? ;A;

I'm also having this issue. Just tried to put a Void Torrent Plushie I just got from the Hustler into my plushie collection and got the following error:

Looks like it ate the item because I did an account search and it says I don't have the item anywhere in my account.

It also took me about 20 minutes to get this particular forum post to load so I could add my SQL error issue to the list.

Happened when I was putting in my plushie collection. I made a ticket because forums weren't working but now they are? Hope I can get my item back but idk.

Same here. I managed to buy two items for a quest, clicked Finish, and it said I didn't have the items. They vanished from my inventory.

Now I can't buy from user shops or move items from my own shop.

I also got an RE for a Gold Shiny Coin, and I didn't actually get it.

I tried to post this earlier and I was redirected to a different, locked thread.

I just wanted to put an Eye of Ash from my Shop 'Boas Treasure Cove' into my inventory. I got an SQL error, went back and repeated the action "you don't have enough of that item"error. For the moment I can still see Eye of Ash "amount 0" in my shop, but obviously I cannot remove 0. Account search only shows me the one in my vault.

Yesterday I lost a Faceworm Cardboard Mask from my vault.

11/20/18 removing 2 items from "Warehouse" I lost one: Cozy Winter Socks I had 130 in there, only 129 left, but none in inventory

I had twice removed 2 different items from one page shortly before without problem (Fortunately, because there were some very expensive ones among them)

It's haunting me: Just picked up some purple Rreign floaty - no sign of it in my inventory

...but I'm never getting an error!

Yup - this comes from the 5 year old give_item code I mentioned. The technical explanation is that we have an auto increment on that table, which increases +1 for each item put in user inventories (that's where the id=23849723489723947 comes from when you click on an item in your inventory). Previously this code was creating a blank number that MySQL would interpret and add the number itself. The proper way to do it is to not send that at all.

You were likely added into the group that used the proxy, and because the proxy didn't accept that code (the blank number) it would error, not giving you the item. The function has been rewritten to adhere to 2018 standards now, so that error won't happen to you again even if you get put back in the pool for the proxy.

I understand the frustration and the losing sP, and advice making a ticket for it :( But it won't happen again!

There is also an error when you read a pet a book currently(hopefully this is ok to post here)- SQL Error SQL: INSERT INTO pets_bookread ( readid , petid , bookid ) VALUES ('', '400761', '3479') subeta_subeta subeta_subeta

The book does not show up in the pet's read list and is gone from the inventory. They were cheap books so I'm not concerned but hopefully it gets fixed eventually.

EDIT: Just tested it a few times and books now seem to be working again.

I am having the same issue that is having. I get the SQL Error when reading books to my pet. I also got similar lines of odd messages on some forum pages. It was in the Pet forums but I do not recall the specific locations. (I am not sure where to post either, sorry.)
