I got the same error. Chrome OS and Chrome Browser. Unlike what did I refreshed on the error page like an idiot, and she ate my and then insulted me and Magie for not having it and being slow. Going and getting another pair of shoes and doing a second refresh does result in reward.

[edit] 10:05 got another Oracle quest. This time it took awhile to accept the Green Striped Gloves but processed it properly and without error message when it finally did. There usually isn't a cache delay from The Oracle widget, so the widget shows the quest as still active even though it has been completed and visiting the Oracle again verifies that I wasn't double-quested.

These should now be resolved.
