A pet is supposed to be completed in no more than three days. It would be useful, though, if you could go there and see which pet is being worked on and the date the key and schematic were handed over.

PS: If a glitch develops with this part of the site so the pet doesn't get made, being able to put a date on a ticket would be more helpful for the person dealing with it than a vague "A few days ago" or "Some time last week."

Agreed. There are many places that could use dates/countdowns.

I agree - I made this suggestion at the The Giant List of Usability and Random Improvement 2.0 since I found it nerve wrecking to give up a key and a blueprint and then have no confirmation or ability to check to make sure everything was working as it should.

I've found it in the list which says

7. Indicate that a Steamwork pet is under construction (e.g. "We&;re currently working on your order of a _____" on the Yun Enterprises and/or pets pages)

I still think we need a date for when the key and schematic were handed in, though, Maybe the site time as well.

Yeah, I originally wanted confirmation, but a date for when you made the order and when you can expect it be finished is a good improvement to the overall idea.
