As I recall, the troll can only take damage from one specific item. And the item changes every time someone gets five wins.

/edit I have never beat the troll, but was part of a few group efforts to try when he came out.

Yeah. That is kind of the point of him. He IS a troll, after all.

The strategy was, as I recall, equip different t1 weapons (I think it was only t1, but mayyybe t1-t3) try each one, if they dont work, quit and equip a different set of t1 weapons. Repeat.

Nope, just weapons.

It can be done but for me and many others the effort isn't worth it.

, I beat him with one of the cheapest T1 weapons in my armory. I would try a random assortment of cheap weapons until I'd get too bored or annoyed, then I'd quit and try again the next day. Finally beat the little nasty, but it's just random luck to find the one weapon that you can hit him with.

What about weapons that put curses on it? I mean, it won't take damage from the weapon itself, but will the curse still work?

Nope, spells/curses were totally ineffective. Loot: [Item=CobbleStone Pile] Edit: I also recommend using your weakest pet, because if you have the right weapon you can kill him with a tap on the shoulder.

its other loot is bragging rights I guess

tapping in here since I was searching the same: is the 'random' weapon one in your own armory or of all low T weapons on Subeta?

The 1 item is picked from all of Subeta, not just stuff you own.

Ironically, I have not got 5 wins on him haha, I was too busy organising things - it really took a lot of teamwork in order to get the ball rolling, as I believe every time someone got 5 wins, the item to beat him reset... I assume that is still the case. It's achievable on your own, but a lot easier with multiple people working through the items as there's so many.

thank you for your reply! I might check it out later, lately I havn't been much active on Subeta apart from the dailies. I think it's nice to set up a team if trying for it, but I think buying all kind of T1-5 (thanks to !) is kind of a hopeless quest... 🙃

I'd be willing to join a group to get this going. Is the mechanic it has to actually deal damage or does the weapon just need to be used and an all defense weapon should be included in the list?

Big picture assuming Subetalodge's list is accurate there are 1,349 weapons T1-T5. If we could get 34 interested people willing to help out everyone in the group it can be done pretty effortlessly using all 5 sets with different t1-t5 weapons for each user. This # goes down if it actually has to have attack icons and the mechanics not to just use the specific T1-T5.

I should have most T1-T5's i could lend out.
