If you send your existing pet into the pit, will it simply change the pet into a common blob? ...or will it just change the species into a blob and keep the existing color (if it is available for blobs)?

I'm thinking about changing my Nightmare Noktoa into a Nightmare Blob. If I send my Nightmare Noktoa into the pit, will it come out as a Nightmare Blob?

I think it works to keep the color! I know Yaherra do that as well!

It definitely keeps the same color, provided that a blob exists in that color. :)
