Since Morostide started, I have not received several of my personal pings. I've been having to go to forums I posted in to check to see if I was responded to (if I haven't forgotten). I have never had this issue happen to me before Morostide began (to my knowledge) but now, it's happening most of the time :/

I apologize if I'm reporting this issue in the wrong area or if a report like this already exists. I did check before posting, though, and didn't see any related issue :X

How many notifications do you have in your sidebar?

yes, I got this one! I have no notifications aside from a trick or treat alert at this time I didn't get a ping from about 30 minutes ago, though, and only noticed I had a trade lot waiting for me after refreshing the thread D:

Is there anything special about the pings you're missing? Like are they all from the same forum, are they from edited posts, etc? Could you give some specific examples of pings you didn't get notified for?

come to think of it, it could be that I'm not getting pings from the Morostide forums, since I did get the ping notifications from the Custom Wearable threads when I slotted on a couple things, but I never got ping notifications from 3 or 4 event threads in the Morostide threads. Yeah... I think that's the connection, but I'm not 100% sure otherwise. I just wanted to make this known, but I'm not sure if it's happening to anyone else.

I confirmed that I can get pings on the Morostide forums, so it might not be that...

When was the last time you didn't get the ping? like what date? The lag was pretty bad the first few days of Morostide, so it could have simply failed due to our server problems. But those problems should be resolved now from our recent site update, so if you haven't experienced it since then, it could have been related?

it happened yesterday just shortly before I created this thread to report it. Maybe there was a little lag spike at the time, I dunno. But since no one else is reporting on this, it might've just been a fluke incident. It's not a huge deal anyway since it only happens to me so far in the Morostide forums, which won't be here much longer anyway. And I'm glad it hasn't been an issue for anyone else!
