Just got one from the Hustler... no idea what it does :P Looking at SubetaLodge, it looks like the amulet blocks all damage? Sounds too good to be true. But it also says "semi-breakable," so what does that mean? If it does "break," does that mean it's gone forever, or just for that battle? And since it has one mod slot, what's a good thing to mod it with? I want to use it with my T10 pet, but not if it could break forever :(

It blocks all damage for one turn. Semi-breakable means it breaks for the duration of the battle after use, but it doesn't break permanently (ie. you can use it again in the next battle).

So the temple shard does the same thing as the amulet, but is a lower tier. Um, I think I'd get the shard; I have a pet at tier 5 already.

I think the amulet is particularly useful because it can be equipped alongside the shard, essentially giving you two damage-free turns. (I can't confirm this though as I only have a shard but no amulet). Though the cases in which you'd need two damage-free turns in a battle at the expense of two slots are limited, I imagine having both would have some uses - opponents where healing is disabled, for example.

Rather than being strictly one use per battle like Shinwas Temple Shard, AoN has a high chance to ‘break’ on use. So you have a (small) chance to get more than one use out of it in a fight. If you’re not itching to sell and have a pet that can use it, it’s better than the shard and Rainbow Vortex because of that. Especially if you’re trying to push damage or get an extra freeze chance on an event boss or squeeze in a tight win on a tough challenger. But RNG is a fickle mistress.

Or you can be crazy and pack the shard, amulet, and vortex into one set and fill your scroll set with freezing scrolls.

I got two uses out of it on a couple battles, so I'm gonna keep it :D Even one use will help me since I'm so bad at battling :P

Congrats on the awesome Hustler pull! That's seriously a very valuable find! It's also really quite useful for a pet your tier! Definitely hang onto it, or sell it for a very very high price.

Not sure if you saw 's response but the AoN is better than the shard because it is semi-breakable. Instead of only being a once per battle weapon, there is a chance that the amulet won't break after one use so you can have a full blocker for multiple turns per battle.

- I have an Amulet of Neutrality. Sometimes it breaks the first time you use it but for some battles it seems to last forever. You can definitely get more than two turns with it - just not all the time, so it's great when you want to beat an iffy opponent and are willing to take many losses before you finally get that win. It can easily turn an unbeatable opponent into one you can just barely manage. I have mine in my regular battle set. For what it's worth, I have modded mine with a Critical Strike Tear Crystal which gives a 5% chance to double your damage. If you're having trouble with a freezing opponent a parched baguette or one of the newer anti-freezing mods could also be a good choice. I would never sell mine, but I understand if you are even able to find one to buy they easily sell for 100 - 300 million sP (or possibly more). Thanks for the info! except ugh I just sold a stack of Parched Baguette Crystals; I didn't realize they did that! Time to buy them back lol.
