Avatar changing every page?

I don't know if this is related to the Hex that's eating the Avatars, but I just made a new costume for my avatar and saved it, but it seems when I click to move on Subeta's map or just doing things in my inventory, it swaps between my current one and the one I had before I made the current one. Is this some sort of glitch as well?
