I hope everyone has avoided Hurricane Michael and the Flooding in Italy! I haven't heard from any of you that your team members are involved, but please let me know if anyone is affected.

This is an HA contest. Dress up to attend the very important "Sellers of Dreams" ball. Participation is worth 500 points and especially compelling costumes will net a bonus of 250 for your team, with a maximum score boost of 500 points per team.

All items on Subeta may be used, including CWs. Please post your HAs in one entry as a team on the story thread by Oct. 20 at 11:59 pm Subeta time.

Since Yippina is sending you to the Ball, all teams have a 500 point "destination/method" score for traveling by sampan to Ellak City, which is often called the Bazaar of Dreams. You will lose this starting perk if you do not post at least one HA by the due date.

Would like to clarify sorry, when you mention our HAs as one entry; Are you wanting the teams HAs in one image photoshopped together or all just together in one post? Just wanted to double check since previously you didn't want us merging them all together.

I feel incredibly dumb, but the theme has me a little stumped. Do we just go with what it makes us think of? Or do I need to go back and read to get my brain on the right track?

Also...clarifying the bonus. To arrive by sanpan, does this need to be included in our HAs or just post by that time and we've "arrived" by that method?

Again, I know these are pobably no brainers but my brain is tired and confused. Jalapeno by rightful birth. ;)

It's the Librarian's Ball, so looking a bit "bookish" might be in order. Librarians are a brilliant and quirky lot with many interests, so the field is open. You are simply being given the destination (Ellak) and means of travel because the destinations/methods have driven some teams to near madness and have been deemed "too abstract." You were worn out from the RP and personal issues, so I just gave you a break.

PS that's not the hidden bonus. It's still in there and it's different.

AH thank you. And I appreciate the break. I love the idea of discovering the method but my brain is fried and I pretty sure you could hit me on the head with it (as you kindly tried a few times on here) and I'd still be like...uh, huh..uh...what? Ugh. Maybe one day I"ll get my brains in gear. ;)

And that about the ball helps a lot. Now off the wardrobe.... :D

Want 500 extra points for your team? Here's an add-on. Pugsy is about to meet Belhi, the librarian of the main Ellak City branch. While his Father is very canine, (he's Yippina's second cousin,) his mother is Varkanian. Pugsy is also a Varkar. (You'll be learning more about them.)

Yes. The ones on his head hear. The ones on top are like radar sensors. He tracks with them, and they swivel.

Okay, that is cool then. :) Dhara only has two, the ones on top :) I have to be careful what hair I use on her and the other characters from her people, that's why I asked, I will now go and amend my selection of outfit for him :) Thanks!

Almost everyone in the game Dhara came from also plays on Subeta and I and other people who play Talassani have bemoaned the problem of "when you are playing a catte and want to give them a sidecut/short hair/particular hairstyle but can't, because even though the cat ears look ok with it, it also shows the HA ears." I intend to do a CW that is basically a spot of shaded colour that you can put on your HA base and instead of having base ears, you now have a bit of shading on the side of your face to make the shape of your head more cattified.

I have a cat-eared char and I feel your problems acutely. <3 That's an awesome cw idea!

- Valiska Courinna is one of the main NPCs in Weirdmageddon Tango, and she is also the black-haired, black-eared, character with lots of braids in her hair that I'm usually dressed as. The two main braids stand for her mates, Stanford and Severin. Severin married her and Stanford in the game so his braid is shorter :D

(When people accidentally refer to Dhara as Valiska, it takes absolutely all my self-control to not have her freak out about having been mistaken for the ruler of the Pride Courinna, especially since Dhara is a tall ginger/red tabby and Valiska is a tiny poofy puff of black catte, because I know that IC they probably got it right and the player just flubbed it...)

1. Your outfits are gorgeous and the entries for Pugsy and Behli are fab! 2, Okay, I WILL grant a delay in the start of Chap 10 to allow you to Morostide away and do the plot. <3 I know overloads can be trying.
