So this is Chara.

Chara is a little shit with an overly-complicated profile that has entirely too much stuff based on navigation.

You flip through pages of the story, and sometimes content on the profile will change or be blocked out. As with typical multi-page stories, the code's set up so that inactive pages won't have content show.

It worked great before! But now with the recode/whatever the hell was messed up with coding, now their profile is all wonky. If I do anything to navigate beyond the splash page, the pet image + treasure chest + pet friends all decide to completely disappear into the ether, and cause the page to get very small as a result.

This shouldn't be happening. :') If anything on the page disappears, it's because it gets hidden, not.. removed completely. And that's intentional.

Can someone help me? I'm at a loss here, and it's really frustrating because I put hours of suffering and witchcraft into this pet, and would hate to have to completely revamp everything about them just because Subeta decided to change a bit of code somewhere on pet profiles. I'm pretty sure it has something somewhere to do with the content BS that was implemented and made important, but I... don't know how that interacts or works with the assorted css that goes on in this page.

And I know how this profile works, how everything gets turned on and off by navigation, so... this is something that's beyond my knowledge. It's just really frustrating, ahaha.

(I'm still mad about the code changes, btw. How dare you ruin my profiles. >:V)

There isn't a black pillar/box on the TC; if I change the TC position to be any more negative than it currently is, more of the TC gets hidden. If I change overflow to visible, this black bar on the TC goes away. The minion also re-appears.

Nothing disappears for me if I click through the story (unless it's clearly supposed to), but if I visit the credits and go back to the start, the profile jumps up (assuming due to anchor link for being part way down the page).

No scrollbars show if I shrink the browser window beyond where the content appears.

I'm using Chrome, tried it on my PC & laptop to the same result.

Sorry I can't help more! In my own profiles, I force to start top left (0,0) at 100% width, so the update didn't change that much for me P:

At least your insight is giving me an idea of what's going on-- it's just making the profile forcibly scroll down and conceal the pet/treasure chest/friends section instead of making it disappear.. so it's related to resolution and forced scrolling.

I just need to figure that out and make it stop, because up until now, it's never made the profile forcibly scroll into doing that. :o
