My current set is as follows:
My war plate is modded with a BoNA and a parched baguette, and my syringe is maxed out in parched baguette mods as well.
I have a ton of scrolls - Aftershocks, Perilous Whirlpool, Morosbane, Fatal Fire, Cobslt Eternal, the list goes on and on.
Not sure what else to do and hoping someone can provide some much needed assistance! Thanks in advance.
With FIshbreath, your best bet is to simply chain freeze him. If you can do that for long enough then you're golden. The problem will be surviving his opening volley and on the turns when he isn't frozen. I highly suggest investing in Negating and Glaciating Pylonics(of which you can only have one of each equipped per pet), as Negating is a one-use full block, and glaciating a one-use chance to freeze.
Weapon-wise, I'm a bit more iffy on what to suggest for your tier. IIRC Fishbreath does a majority water and wind, and a glance at Maliss its physical, dark, fire, and I think earth? If you have enough health, and enough Cobalt Eternal scrolls, you might be able to hit Maliss hard enough. You only really need to worry about the BoNA/Parched crystals for Fishbreath, otherwise I'd say invest in either more damage for Maliss or more blocking power for any icons that make it through your attackers/scrolls.
I do hope that you can pull it off, but frankly speaking, T10 could just be too low. Good luck.
thank you for the tips and the realistic advice! I may just work on my pet and try it again next year.
- don't know if these will help you any, but they might
MrCool - Captain Jacques MrCool - Maliss Bopper
Don't know how many wins you are trying for, but I managed 5 wins each on Maliss Bopper with Tos (T10) and Tharg (T9) using these weapons - . I also had and one each and Tos also had one . Tharg did have to use some (cheap right now!) for the last two wins and one for the fifth win. Fatal Fire is excellent since it blocks fire and dark and also attacks, while Perilous Whirlpool blocks just fire.
Last year I was able to use a which made fighting Maliss Bopper much easier.
Basically it's do as much blocking as possible with your weapons while still getting to attack.
Hope some of that is helpful. Wishing you good luck.
thank you! I put those on my wishlist, a few seem kind of impossible to get but I’ll keep them in mind haha.
- they aren't necessarily the best weapons for fighting Maliss Bopper, but they were a reasonable choice from what I have. The guides from MrCool tell what icons of damage and blocking the challengers do so you can pick your best blocks and attacks. Some of what I'm using are actually loans from long time battlers many of whom have been very supportive. Using the right weapons can make an enormous difference in what opponents you are able to beat and it's different for each challenger. Most important is to have fun in the Battle Coliseum. Hope you are doing that. Your pets will grow with time and there is always next year. :-)
