I've looked through the suggestions forum and not found a suggestion like this. So, I thought I'd post (Excuse me if there has and I'm just being blind).

My suggestion is to, during Keel Hauliday, we're told Carl'll give out stuff for Keel Hauliday.

But, this seems to be limited to those who have completed the Omen Islands plot/map. Which kinda sucks cause a lot of new players, weren't around for the plot and I've noticed myself, it's really hard to complete the map.

My idea is to make it so during Keel Hauliday, Carl is accessible to all. So, we can all do his quests for the items and have our fair share of the fun. Because, not everyones able to restock items from the shop (So far I haven't been able to at all and I've been refreshing the shop everytime I've had the chance to be on Subeta).

All you need to do is complete the Uncharted Land Map one time to gain access.

Most of the pieces are under 100k each, so it's not really that expensive. And from what I've seen from some staff responses before, they leave Carl in some places to encourage people to unlock the map if they haven't already done so.

I would be more on board with this suggestion if the map was ridiculously pricey or something, but the amount it costs to buy the map pieces can be easily earned in a day from doing the other quests.

If the map were still incredibly difficult to obtain (believe me, it used to take tens of millions to complete) I'd go for this. But it's ridiculously inexpensive to complete now.

Yeah, since the pieces are pretty cheap now I don't think it's a huge deal. But maybe a "remember, Carl is only available if you've completed an Uncharted Land Map!" reminder would be good for newer players.
