Hello guys!

I was big in the roleplaying scene years ago, but now it seems that the site has kinda died down in regards to many aspects of the forums. It's sad, really. There's hardly any activity really going on, anymore.

I'm hoping to find someone, or a group of someones, who is interested in roleplaying. While I'm all about developing skills, I do have preference for literate companions and some dedication to whatever the roleplay is. At least a reply every few days, if not once a week. I like to see things moving, and stagnation is the death of many a thread.

I have a variety of ideas that can be worked upon. My most successful roleplay (on a different site) was one involving dystopian scenery where mutants were involved in a race war, and eventually a civil war provoked by character activity. It led to quite a few spin-off roleplays and character stories being developed over the course of a year or two. I don't expect to have a thread that is as active and prominent as this one, but anything with a good storyline that can continue to change and evolve is almost essential at this point. I'm, quite frankly, tired of superficial "she did this" and "he did that" kinds of roleplays.

I have a few ideas I've been toying with, just ask! Or if you have your own, please let me/us know!

I hope some of you who see this will be interested in maybe creating a long-term group we can go to when we have an itch to write. I'd love to create a RP forum group and maybe even try to revive the scene... however, the latter is probably a total long-shot. haha

Hello! I used to try to get a group of friend together for a forum rp I created on freeboards but I don't have access to it anymore since it was made like... 4 years ago, iirc. I roleplayed in Gaia online forums as well back when I was active! I do my RPing nowadays on Twitter, I used to be on Facebook but the community's become quite toxic and no one really cares for replies anymore...

I'd love to brainstorm with you as I've been looking for active partners to spark my inspiration and creativity again. I love sci-fi, dystopian, high fantasy, tribal fantasy, slice of life, adventure, romance, drama. I'm also big on the Warriors books if you know them, and Harry Potter. :) I have a couple of OCs at the ready but I don't mind creating new ones.

;; I prefer sMail or eMail for my 1x1 roleplays. I've never roleplayed on Twitter or FB. But then again, I barely use either.

I don't care for fandom RPs much, but the mechanics of a world can be adapted to suit the needs of a group. I have been a big fan of sci-fi dystopian but high fantasy and tribal fantasy are good genres as well. I typically prefer to use human/humanoid characters when I roleplay unless it's a side character like a companion.
