The little bar in the news is nice! Especially when it's full of rainbows. ;) But it's kind of annoying to have to go digging to find the news post to see what the goal is. With the lag and site hiccups, the forums don't always work as well either.
A standalone summary page for the quest-a-thon would be handy. Something that you can reach from the little quest-a-thon news widget. Something you can bookmark or pin to your tabs.
It would list all the information for the quest-a-thon - prizes, goals, deadline, rules and details about Sarah's quests and GAs, and a bar with the percentage of total quests done.
All the quests that can be done for progress points would have their separate counters, so you know which quest you've already done. A bit like the done/not done colour coordinated task boxes we have for Drills.
If possible, a bit more statistic information might be interesting. How many quests you've completed for the duration of the entire quest-a-thon, a count of how much you've contributed to the overall goal.
Would this make the forum topic obsolete? Nope! The forum topic still lists the average we need to do for a daily goal to keep on track and it's very useful to find someone to hold your sP if you want to do Sarah's quests. This would simply be a nice little summary with more information and a clear way to tell which quests you've done and which you haven't done, for those of us who are more image/colour-oriented. Quest widget is nice, but I get lost in it and I'm not sure if the site is going to be keeping widgets in the new layout.
This would be great!
I don't think that we really need to track how much we've done individually - I suspect that might require more than a little programming, but yes to the rest of it!

I'd love something like this for future quest-a-thons. Having to go find the original news post more than once was a bit of a pain and the more info that can be included in the widget the better (if it's relatively simple to implement, anyway). xD At least having direct access to the basic information would be great.
Yep! For future quest-a-thons, because this one is over (and also full of rainbows!) :D
If it's a bit too coding-intensive now, maybe having the widget link to the news post listing all the quest-a-thon information would be a good alternative, like said. I'd still prefer all the information on its own separate page with all the quests clearly listed and ticked off when you finish all quest for an eligible questgiver.
I'd like to see my own statistics for it, purely because I'm a nosy sucker for that kinda stuff. 👀 But if it's too hefty coding-wise, then it's a nope from me. Rather not make it a nightmare when it doesn't have to be.
