i'd only take one or two slots at a time, since they are time consuming and i am disabled. cheers for any feedback, i'm trying to hone my skills more.
i guess this could also be an interest check
if anyones interested please let me know! i want to know if my work would be wanted by people on subeta :)
Dang, these look amazing! I'm happy to see your art again. I'd say you can do somewhere between 20-25$ base, then add 2-5$ for more complex designs (elaborate headwear, armour, et c., think your first example.)
It looks like you handpaint the background, too, so you can also charge additional for that if you have to do something like the second and third examples.
Ahh it's nice to see you, hope you've been well! Thanks for the price, that's what I was thinking around but I didn't want to overcharge since there is a lot of stuff I can improve on.
Would you happen to know the sp/csc conversion for that? csc fluctuates so much, I don't know if theres a 'set' amount.
I'm happy to see that you're still around! ^q^ Been busy with work/internship lately, but I've mostly been well. I hope you and cain are doing well. c:
Don't worry about "overcharging", I'd rather not see artists undersell themselves just to get more customers since it's not fair for your efforts, it's going to be more draining, and it's faster to get burnt out. You can always do an interest check before offering commissions, or try to practice/warm-up -- then you can gauge from there if it'll be better to offer a different kind of commission/style.
CSC is usually fixed at $1 = 100 CSC, but you can always ask for a higher CSC amount per $ due to bonus weekends, haha.
It's sP which fluctuates more, but I usually see it for around 11 million = 100 CSC; again, you can always increase your exchange rate if you prefer one currency over the other.
(For instance, I know someone off-site who charged more for USD than other site currencies just because they've had a lot of issues with people charging them back on PayPal. Ouch.)
yeah what I might do is do a couple examples of portraits and half bodies, check to see if theres any interest. Pop a shop up and see what happens, I don't go onto the art market so idk if theres demand for human art!! theres also always toyhouse, i suppose.
Charging back is fucking ouch indeed, can't believe people would do that.
Sounds like a plan! And oooh, you have toyhou.se? I'm a little more active in searching for commissions there, so if you don't mind sharing your URL with me, I'll subscribe so I can remember to ask you about them in the future.
i'm abel there, same as here :) the art on the pages is at least a year old, though, because i forgot toyhouse even existed oops
